Source: Sustainable

Monday 19 February - Friday 12 April 2024

Ensure your sustainable products are seen by Architects & Designers from firms that have committed to Net Zero Carbon by 2030.

What is Source: Sustainable?

Source: Sustainable is a new campaign from The Arc Agency running from Monday 19 February – Friday 12 April 2024 and dedicated to presenting sustainable products to Architects and Designers who have declared a commitment towards net zero carbon.

What do we get out of participating in Source: Sustainable?

      • Targeted and timely – 8 week campaign targeting firms that have declared their commitment to sustainability
      • Guaranteed exposure – sustainable product updates will take place with Architects & Designers
      • Access Architects & Designers – working on current projects that require your sustainable solutions
      • Open conversations – about your sustainable products with specifiers
      • Generate weekly project interest – through timely reporting of meetings conducted
      • Build brand awareness – Reach hundreds of firms easily & put your product front-of-mind with the decision-makers
      • Exclusivity – non-competing. 1 supplier per product category

How does Source: Sustainable work?

Throughout the campaign, The Arc Agency will be presenting sustainability-focused products to architects and designers in NSW, VIC, and QLD. The product update meetings are prescheduled appointments.

How is this different from other forms of marketing, such as digital marketing?

This is a face-to-face introduction of your products direct to architects and designers working on relevant projects and with a solid focus on sustainability. The program, unlike other forms of marketing, provides you with immediate brand awareness and project interest.

Why net zero carbon?

Buildings account for nearly 40% of energy-related carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. Architectural firms globally and locally across Australia are focused on addressing this climate and biodiversity issue. As such, architectural practices are committing to architecture that looks towards decarbonising the built environment towards net zero carbon by 2030.

What makes a product sustainable?

      • Responsible Materials – No use of hazardous materials or depletion of natural resources
      • Minimal Impact Disposal – Can be or is reused, repurposed, recycled or composted
      • Efficient Life-Cycle – Small carbon footprint, social and economic benefits, useful and durable minimal waste
      • Ethical Production – Low environmental impact and ethical labour

Which firms have committed to net zero carbon buildings by 2030?

To date, over 1000 Australian architectural practices have committed to designing sustainable buildings. The firms that have made this declaration can be found on au.architectsdeclare.com

How do we know that you will be presenting to the right architects and designers?

The focus of the Source: Sustainable campaign is specification professionals within committed firms. The Arc Agency has over 20 years of relationships with these architects and designers through conducting daily forums within their practices.

How many specifiers will you meet with across Source: Sustainable?

We will be meeting with 500+ architects and designers across the 8 week campaign.

How do you find architects and designers to target?

The Arc Agency connects daily with hundreds of specification professionals and we have a robust architectural database. Within the industry, we conduct an average of:

      • 750+ product update meetings per month
      • 200+ group presentations per month
      • 25+ online and face to face industry events yearly

Why would architects and designers participate in Source: Sustainable?

Product update meetings are a time-efficient and educational way of finding out about products and solutions in the industry. At our daily meetings, we find that 75% of specifiers are sourcing sustainable solutions. Source: Sustainable is the best way for specifiers to seek out these types of products.

How many other product suppliers will be participating?

20 non-competing product suppliers.

How many product suppliers will you present in the one meeting?

On average we would present products from 5 suppliers. This is dependant upon the projects that the specifier is working on. The product presentations are customised so they are relevant

What information does your team need to present our range of products?

We provide you with a short questionnaire to complete about your sustainable product. You will provide us with 8-12 product/project images with the main sustainability attributes outlined.

How do we train the team?

This is through a Zoom session.

What content does the training cover?

We require an elevator pitch, key selling points, competitive advantages, and, of course, information on the sustainability of your products. These questions are outlined in a short questionnaire.

How many Relationship Managers will be working across the states?

8

How do you report interest in my product?

Through weekly reports that are emailed to your team.

How much interest should we expect in our product?

Source: Sustainable Guarantees a minimum of 30 project interest reports in 7 weeks . The interest is not capped, and our aim is to exceed your expectations by providing as much interest as possible throughout the campaign.

How do we continue the conversation?

We recommend that you follow up on project interest in a timely manner through phone calls and by providing the requested information to the specification professional. Source: Sustainable generates brand awareness and interest, however, these conversations need to be nurtured by your sales team.

Can we just do 1 state?

No. This campaign runs across the 3 main states, NSW, QLD, and VIC, and is purchased as a package.

How do we get started?

      • Complete a short questionnaire about your sustainable product
      • Provide 8-12 product/project images with the main sustainability attributes outlined

What our clients had to say about Source campaigns…

Dulux Acratex utilised the Source campaign to launch to the broader market our recently released product range ‘Dulux Creativo Microcement’.

We saw this as a great opportunity to increase our brand awareness and to get our new product in front of as many designers as possible and the reaction and feedback have been well above expectations.

Source and the Arc Agency have done a great job promoting our product range which would normally take our teams 6 months to cover.

We couldn’t be happier with the results.  Our staff is almost overwhelmed. Given the specific target of this “Source: Sustainable” campaign we’re driving about 50% of leads straight to sample requests. Linking our sustainable terrazzo products to real projects is the key.

We were at the pivot point where we were focused on expanding our reach to the people that influenced design. We wanted to educate them on what we can offer to help create a more sustainable solution for their clients.

Source Sustainable got us in front of the right people. We looked at it as a good pilot campaign to test the traction that we could achieve and it did that and more. Thank you to the ARC Agency. We will be back.
