Topic 3: Sustainable Façade Coatings

Overview: In this one-hour course, we will discover the sustainability strengths and advantages of FEVE fluoropolymer topcoats for facades panels and curtain walls, as well as onerous maintenance programmes that other coatings are encumbered with. We will evaluate coating performance tests including “accelerated” weathering and “real-time” weathering, and what the implications are for the life of different coatings. We will also assess the life-cycle advantage and sustainability benefits of FEVE topcoats and test standards to specify to ensure optimum and sustainable performance.
